Within this site, you will find resources, links, and information regarding the field of Women's Studies and its location in community colleges throughout the state of California.

Ever wonder why Women's studies is rarely associated with community colleges? Do you think these colleges are a great place for feminist teaching and learning that widens the lens of general education?

Out of this space of too-little discussion comes this Web site. I have created both the site and the paper (read it here) for my culminating project at San Francisco State University.

Please use the links on the left side of the page to find out specific information about the 16 Women's Studies programs and departments in California's community colleges, as well as feminist community and activist-oriented programs on these campuses.
